March Break Camp 2024
Level up Your Chinese with our Immersive
Mandarin & Cantonese March Break Camps!

If you're looking for a way to keep your child learning and engaged this March, our in-person March Break Camp program is for you! Join our Cantonese or Mandarin cohorts in either our Midtown or Markham locations.

Just like our well-regarded immersive Summer Camps, Panda Mandarin March Break Camps make learning Mandarin fun and practical for children aged 4 and up. Campers will be taught in either Cantonese or Mandarin (with English used when needed). Campers will spend time with their peers through indoor activities (eg, gym, music, drama, art, games, dance), as well as outdoors at local parks (weather permitting). Our camps are theme-based and children will learn Cantonese or Mandarin at the same time. Children will be grouped by age/skill where appropriate.

What your child can expect at our camps

-
Warm and caring staff who are well trained (including First Aid)
-
Bilingual English/Mandarin speaking Camp Leaders
-
Low ratios of staff to campers (1:5)
-
Staff who create a fun and engaging atmosphere
-
A clean and safe environment to learn and play
-
An inclusive and open-minded team that respects each individual child
-
Staff that are approachable and welcoming
-
An appropriate amount of Chinese/English spoken that helps challenge a camper, but without turning them off from the language - for beginners or novices, this means Chinese & English. For advanced/fluent students, predominantly Mandarin or Cantonese will be used

Note: our camps will adhere to local health & safety regulations as required.
Location

Our camps run at our centre located at 3217 Yonge St. in the Yonge & Lawrence area and at 105 Gibson Centre located at Warden & Steeles in Markham. Part of the camp experience at 105 Gibson Centre will include indoor gym time with recreational instructors from 105 Gibson Centre.

Age & Skill Levels

Our camp is designed for 4-12 year olds. We tailor and group activities by age and skill so your child will have consistent exposure to Mandarin & Cantonese appropriate to their level. We may also group children by the following ages where appropriate - 4-5 years, 6-8 years, 9 years and older. For language skill level, we divide students into beginner/intermediate/advanced, and for each level, teachers will use as much Chinese as possible so that students can understand but still be challenged.
